When Understanding Isn’t Enough: Why God Wants My Obedience, Not Just My Insight This whole reflection began while I was reading through 1 & 2 Samuel and 1 & 2 Kings. I wasn’t looking for anything profound — I was simply following the stories of Saul, David, and Solomon. But as I moved from one king to the next, something clicked.
